Ashton Edit was monumental in establishing the Gold Coast as a destination for international and national indie acts by pushing a sound that many were too cautious to take on. He pioneered the new sounds of dance as one half of the Juvenile Djs down the electric avenues of Surfers Paradise.

Having started at the notorious Berlin Lounge (Gold Coast) as a teenage tyrant, Ashton Edit burst onto the club scene shining on like a crazy diamond. Ashton Edit’s penchant for kicking a hole in the speaker has also seen him forge residencies at the infamous Elsewhere, The Family, Ruby Tramp, Platinum and the second Berlin Bar among others.

Hype is all well and good, but Ashton Edit has the ability (read ‘skillz’) to go toe to toe with some seriously renowned artists. His rap sheet of support shows reads like the ultimate indie-lectro-dance list of doom. Having opened for Justice, Busy P, SebastiAn, Kavinsky, Uffie & Feadz, Cut Copy, Van She, Midnight Juggernauts, The Valentinos, among many other Djs, Sound Systems, Riots, Raiders, Kids, Gangs and ‘Dance Legends’.

Ashton throws his own edits into the mix, churning out a signature party sound that has blown away some of the biggest crowds on the eastern seaboard; playing at festivals such as Summerfield Dayze and Round and Round. Having recently moved to Sydney, Ashton's been turning knobs and tweaking dials working on his upcoming EP. He’s constantly cutting his own Edits heard from behind the decks.
